Customer Service Representative - Live Chat

THE ROLE:
Do you have a positive attitude and a drive to provide the best possible service to clients? In a highly competitive industry, we are looking for a Customer Service oriented individual that will respond quickly and effectively to our constantly changing customer needs. In the Customer Service Relations Live Chat role you will provide polished, quality service to our customers through our online live chat service.

 

  • Customer service duties including monitoring live chat, answering customer inquiries, conducting product searches, account updates, website updates and maintaining quote files;
  • Following up on inactive quotes, and maintaining call lists for active and inactive customers;
  • Interacting with commercial and retail customers over online chat to provide prompt service;
  • Managing and resolving customer complaints as well as escalating unresolved issues;
  • Promoting current sales offers and providing excellent service through specific customer catalogue;
  • Organizing workflow to meet customer timeframes;
  • Resolution of customer complaints or concerns;
  • Performing administrative functions such as setting up new customer accounts, processing orders, providing quotes and information as well as running various computer reports;

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent computer skills (including use of Microsoft Office, Zendesk, Mozilla Firefox, etc.);
  • Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt to change;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong mathematical skills, accuracy, attention to detail and data-entry experience;
  • Customer service focus;
  • Strong multi-tasking and problem solving skills;
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to prioritize and flex based on quickly changing priorities;
